ALLAHABAD: The fragrance of roses and tube rose flowers would now spread in Trans-Yamuna belt of the Sangam City as authorities of district horticulture department take up a rose cultivation project in Chaka and Karchana blocks of the district.

SURAT: The Navsari Agriculture University (NAU) will take up a campaign to encourage people to go for gardens on their terraces, roof tops and kitchens.

Trichy: More and more farmers in the district are shifting to horticulture crops such as muskmelon, onion, mango, turmeric and an assortment of high-priced flowers as they are short-term crops which requires less water.

PANAJI: The Goa horticulture Corporation is pulling out all the stops to encourage Goan farmers to start growing vegetables commercially, hoping to reduce the state's dependence on neighboring Karnataka for its veggies.
